Brian O. Sutter
Managing Partner
Managing Partner and Board-Certified Workers’ Compensation Attorney
Brian O. Sutter is the managing partner of All Injuries Law Firm. He has practiced law in Florida since 1983 and has spent decades representing injured workers and accident victims throughout Port Charlotte and Southwest Florida.
He has been Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation by The Florida Bar since 1990. Over more than four decades in practice, Brian has helped injured people address disputes involving medical treatment, wage benefits, permanent disability, insurance coverage, and serious personal injuries.
His experience includes trial work, appellate matters, professional leadership, and decades of representing clients throughout Port Charlotte and Southwest Florida.
More Than Four Decades Representing Injured People
Brian began his Florida legal career in 1983 after earning his law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
Early in his career, he served as a prosecutor in Southwest Florida. That work gave him experience preparing evidence, examining witnesses, evaluating disputed facts, and presenting cases in court.
Brian later spent more than 17 years as a partner and shareholder with Wilkins, Frohlich, Jones, Hevia, Russell & Sutter before becoming the owner and managing partner of All Injuries Law Firm.
After his early work as a prosecutor, Brian built his career representing injured people rather than insurance companies.
Board-Certified Workers’ Compensation Experience
Brian has been Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation by The Florida Bar since 1990.
Board Certification recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated substantial experience, specialized knowledge, competence, professionalism, and peer recognition in a particular area of law.
Brian’s workers’ compensation practice has included matters involving:
- Delayed or denied medical treatment
- Disputes over whether an injury is work-related
- Lost wage benefits
- Permanent work restrictions
- Permanent total disability
- Future medical care
- Settlement decisions
- Claims involving serious or career-ending injuries
His decades of experience allow him to recognize how medical, employment, and insurance issues may affect one another—and how decisions made early in a claim can influence an injured worker’s long-term recovery.
Personal Injury and Accident Cases
Brian’s experience also includes serious personal injury matters involving:
- Automobile accidents
- Motorcycle crashes
- Trucking accidents
- Wrongful death
- Brain injuries
- Premises liability
- Dog bites
- Other severe or permanent injuries
His background in both workers’ compensation and personal injury is especially valuable when an on-the-job injury may also involve another responsible party, such as a negligent driver, contractor, property owner, equipment manufacturer, or other business.
Leadership in Florida Workers’ Compensation Law
Brian’s work has extended beyond representing individual clients.
He has served in leadership roles with Florida Workers’ Advocates and The Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. Through those positions, he has contributed to professional education, legal advocacy, and discussions affecting injured workers and the attorneys who represent them.
Brian appeared as counsel for the petitioner in Emma Murray v. Mariner Health and Ace USA, a Florida Supreme Court matter addressing workers’ compensation attorney fees.
Guiding Clients Through Difficult Decisions
A serious injury can affect a person’s health, income, work, family responsibilities, and future at the same time.
Brian works to help clients understand:
- Which benefits or claims may be available
- How medical evidence may affect the case
- What the insurance company is disputing
- Which decisions may affect future care or benefits
- What to expect during mediation, hearings, or litigation
- What a settlement would resolve
- What options remain if the case cannot be resolved
His approach is built around careful preparation, direct communication, and helping clients make informed decisions about their cases.
Leadership at All Injuries Law Firm
As managing partner, Brian helps guide the firm’s approach to case evaluation, attorney and staff assignments, evidence development, insurance disputes, settlement preparation, and litigation.
His experience helps the firm identify issues that may not be obvious at the beginning of a case, particularly when an injury involves long-term medical treatment, permanent restrictions, multiple insurance policies, or overlapping workers’ compensation and personal injury claims.
For Brian, a successful outcome is not limited to a settlement or award. It may mean helping a client obtain needed medical treatment, restore wage benefits, prove permanent disability, hold a negligent party responsible, or regain stability after a life-changing injury.
